The Lodge

A premium cabin built for the mountain

Built in 2019 to a high standard for up to 14 guests, Mosetra Mountain Lodge Trysil is a modern Scandinavian cabin designed for togetherness. The open-plan living space features soaring ceilings up to 4.3 meters, framed by panoramic windows that pull the Trysil landscape indoors.

A central fireplace anchors the living room, the fully equipped kitchen is made for cooking together, and the long dining table seats everyone at once. Outside, a sunny 49 m² terrace with a fire pit offers stunning views. With 5 bedrooms, a spacious loft featuring a second TV lounge, plus 2 bathrooms with showers, it provides the ultimate balance of social spaces and privacy.

Winter at Mosetra

Mosetra puts you right on the sunny south side of Trysilfjellet with access to both alpine slopes and cross-country trails. Spend your day on the mountain, then return home to floor-to-ceiling windows, panoramic valley views, a floating fireplace, and two separate lounge areas—giving both adults and kids their own space to relax.

Mosetra sits on the sunny southern side of Trysilfjellet — the quieter, more open part of the mountain, with wide views and easy access to everything that makes Trysil special.

You can click into your skis a couple of minutes from the door — 200 m to the transport alpine slopes — step onto the cross-country network almost immediately, or hop on the Free Ski Bus that stops right outside the cabin. Trysil Turistsenter, with its restaurants, shops and ski school, is a short four-minute drive away.
